A remastered version of Yakuza 5, i.e. the production that was the biggest part of this popular cycle at the time of its release. While playing in Yakuza 5 Remastered, we play as five heroes, hitting the middle of the war between the Tojo clan and the Omi alliance.

High res characters textures is a mod for Yakuza 5 Remastered, created by CaptSarge.
A simple mod that replaces textures for characters during gameplay with textures from cutscenes.
Yakuza games use 2 different models for major characters, one for gameplay, with lower quality textures, and one for cutscenes, with higher quality textures. This mod basically merges cutscenes textures with gameplay models.
In general face textures and tattoos are improved for the major characters. In Yakuza 5 you'll probably notice the difference in shading the most.
Textures themselves are 4 times bigger. They're taken straight from the game, so there should be no issues with inconsistent art style of textures, since they were made by the original game devs.
Installation:
Extract the file and copy the "main" folder over to game's folder, usually something like "C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\Yakuza 5"
