uTorrent is one of the most popular free BitTorrent clients, which combines remarkably small dimensions and low demand for resources with rich functionality.
The application is used to retrieve from users around the world a large amount of data of any kind (music, movies, programs, etc.) which is represented by files with the.torrent extension. It is a sister product to BitTorrent (both are work of the same company), differing mainly in smaller size and "appetite" for the computing power of the system.
Note: the installation program suggests replacing the default search engine and home page and putting in an additional browser tool bar. These options are selected by default, so you might want to remain vigilant when installing.
