PPSSPP is a multi-purpose PlayStation Portable emulator – a portable console (handheld), which Sony released on the market in 2004 and replaced with the successor (PlayStation Vita) at the end of 2011.
The program allows you to run games created for this platform on a personal computer with Windows, OS X or Linux operating system.
Therefore it allows you to play classics such as Grand Theft Auto: Vice City Stories, God of War: Ghost of Sparta, Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker, Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII or Patapon. Interestingly, the application supports the Full HD resolution and is able to do upscale in-game textures for its quality, despite the fact that the PSP had a display with dimensions of 480 x 272 pixels. In addition, PPSSPP allows you to transfer savegames to and from the console.
