Most likely you have to reinstall or update your graphics drivers. Restart your computer and keep pressing F8 to see the list of options. Select Safe Mode. If you can successfully load Safe Mode, then go at Control Panel, change view to Large icons and then click on Device Manager. Expand Display adapters, click on the graphics card and press DEL to uninstall it. Restart the computer. Windows should either install a graphics driver automatically or switch to Standard VGA adapter. Now download the latest driver for your graphics card and install it. You should be OK.
i think f8 doesnt even work on newer laptops and i did get into safe mode via the msconfig/boot option, but in safe mode the screen is even worse with only some random fuzzy patterns over the whole screen, while the blind cmd commands also seem to work, just without any sound lol
so maybe someone could just try to replicate the same stuff on a laptop with an ssd(nvme) and then try to fix the occurring issue?
Quick test to see if his graphics card is working properly. Boot a Linux live CD or a WinPE, such as Strelec's WinPE. Use another computer to download the ISO and Rufus to create a bootable USB flash drive. If he can complete boot and see the Linux test/install screen or the Windows desktop, then it is something wrong with drivers in his Windows system. If he sees a black or garbage screen, the graphics card is damaged.
it does show picture in the last win and linux os-es, just not in the 1st 32bit win7, and the problem only started after i resized some partitions again... i think i had the same exact issue the last time that i resized some partitions, because the pausing yt video bug is even more weird than the black/fuzzy screen...
