CryEngine V is a powerful graphics engine and tools for creating games. It is a successor to CryEngine 3. It was produced by the German company Crytek, known mainly for creating games such as Far Cry and Crysis series.
CryEngine V differs from its predecessor, first and foremost, in fact that you can download and use it absolutely free. You decide how much to pay to the software’s producer (you can even not do it at all).
In addition, this version supports DirectX 12 and the most popular VR devices (eg. Oculus Rift, HTC Vive, PlayStation VR).
