Radeon Software in Crimson edition is a set of drivers necessary for the proper operation of the video cards manufactured by AMD. It is the successor of drivers from Catalyst family.
The changes with new drivers include, inter alia, dropping support for most cards from Radeon HD 5000, 6000, 7000 and 8000 families, increasing the performance of the cards while reducing their "appetite" for energy and improved image scaling.
This file contains drivers for Windows 8.1 64-bit and for Radeon RX 400, ProDuo, R9 Fury, R9 Nano, R9 300, R9 200, R7 300, R7 200, R5 230, HD 8500+ and HD 7700+ families, as well as selected APUs and cards with portable computers.
