Radeon Software in Crimson edition is a set of drivers necessary for the proper operation of the video cards manufactured by AMD. It is the successor of drivers from Catalyst family.
The changes with new drivers include, inter alia, dropping support for most cards from Radeon HD 5000, 6000, 7000 and 8000 families, increasing the performance of the cards while reducing their "appetite" for energy and improved image scaling.
Version 15.11.1 was released mainly for fixing issue in version 15.11 which could cause serious problems with graphics card’s cooling system. This file contains drivers for Windows 7, 8.1 and 10 64-bit and for Radeon R9 Fury, R9 Nano, R9 300, R9 200, R7 300, R7 200, R5 230, HD 8500+ i HD 7700+ families, as well as selected APUs and cards with portable computers.
